Weeders Wanted

Coopers Point Bush Care convenes the second Saturday of each month and is part of the Community Volunteer Group of 400 people who work in 80 sites through out the Northern Beaches.

After 2 years of bulldozers, diggings and rain the land is recovering slowly from Energy Australia’s NBN roll out of underground cables with a green fuzz of growth and seeding with indigenous plants.

Volunteers say this is making the weeding very easy as one can clearly see what is native seeding and it’s easy to pull weeds. So if you’d like to lend a hand contact: Antonia Hoddle
