Fauna

Our parks, reserves and vegetation on private property form part of a complex and biodiverse landscape which supports a wide range of fauna.

Limited urban development of the Western Shores has provided our native species with a wildlife corridor fringing the park. Birds, marsupials, snakes, goannas all use our properties to escape predators, use tree hollows for nesting sites, and forage for food.

Retention of remnant bushland is an important part of maintaining this wildlife corridor providing vital habitat and access to aid the breeding and health of many species.
