The existing Commuter Wharf at Church Point has a capacity for 111 boats. 300 permits have been granted by Northern Beaches Council, so the demand well outstrips supply resulting in double stacking and illegal tie-ups.
At its meeting on 19 December 2023, Council resolved to develop a grant-based capital funding bid for the installation of a additional temporary facility at Rostrevor Reserve.
