Together Yes have put together some small group resources to cover in two 90-minute sessions held approximately 3 weeks apart details of the proposal to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the constitution by means of a Voice.
These are small group “kitchen table” sessions of around 10 persons and are important means for people to cut through the public noise and negative chatter and to reach a considered position on recognition of First nations peoples and enshrining a Voice in Australia’s constitution. Both sessions are designed for people to go on a learning journey, to deep dive into the issues which underpin the referendum.
If there is sufficient interest they are planning to organise a couple of sessions on Scotland Island using these resources. If you would be interested in taking part please contact Georgey via email
