Anyone wishing to renew their permit to tie up at Church Point Commuter Wharf needs to do so immediately.
Northern Beaches Council has advised that January 20 is the closing date for applications. Permits expire at the end of February. Applicants need to be able to prove off-shore residency with supporting documentation such as a utility notice.
Forms have been sent to current permit holders with the stern warning that the permit “cannot be renewed if we do not receive the application and supporting documentation”.
Council says that if an application is incomplete or additional information is required, the permit holder will be contacted before January 31. Council anticipates sending renewal invoices in early February.
