If you haven’t been able to get to training for a while, this is the perfect training opportunity to refresh your skills.

You will practise the planned and deliberate actions of an initial engagement. Decrease risk, increase efficiency and maximise team play for good results.
 
We will use the live reel of Lovett 7 in various ways to execute safe and rapid deployment: 

• Brief and delegate roles on approach and/or arrival.
• Safe exit, rapid engagement
• Individual roles for good team play
• Line layout for attack/defence at the four cardinal points
• Setting the pump for optimal delivery
• Untangling the valves and problem solving

This training is suitable for all levels of firefighters and particularly suits those who are new, or have not trained recently and want to refresh their skills.

SET UP GUIDE FOR RFS ACTIV

1. Download app  from apple store or Google
2. Ensure you can login to https://www.myrfs.nsw.gov.au
3. If you have never logged in – your can use your membership number to recover your username which is your first and last name in a single line. eg: WayneLazarides
4. Enter your password or click self help tool to reset it.
5. once you have successfully been able to log in, you will be able to log into the RfsActiv App.
6. For any login issues contact MyRFS Helpline on 1300 269 737
7. Enter your user name and password in RFS Active and then follow the guide attached.
