Brigade Muster Multi-appliance Mystery Scenario

10 October, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 29 October, 2022 @ 2:00 pm

The Brigade Muster is a large, local scenario, to ensure we have the personnel, equipment and teamwork to respond and defend against a significant fire in the Bays.

This training session will suit members of every level of qualification and experience.

  • Muster: gather as many members as possible to crew our appliances and work in teams
  • Multi-appliance: deploy the boat, two Cat 7s and a Cat 9
  • Mystery: location is unknown until the alert is broadcast the morning of the event
  • Mega: another local brigade will join us, so we can practice intra-brigade response

We will be applying and reinforcing basic skills to help all members learn and progress. The session also allows our Captain, DCs and Crew Leaders to practice their leadership, decision making, communication and management skills.

The response will not be rushed or stressed. We will methodically respond in a measured way to ensure the safety and comfort of all crew members.

BBQ lunch will be provided, and the session will wrap up at 2pm.

Please go to RFS ACTIV and give us your green thumbs up for attendance, red thumbs down for unavailable, or yellow for maybe, as soon as possible.
