None of us want to be exposed to asbestos, but when responding to a local emergency you may need to avoid and/or manage the dangers of asbestos. By the end of this session you will:

• Understand the dangers of asbestos
• Be able to identify asbestos and where it may be
• Competently manage the exposure risk to you, your colleagues and the community
• Know how to establish & implement control zones to prevent contamination and initiate a decontamination processes

It’s a serious topic but a light morning tea will be provided to balance the proceedings.
