Scotland Island Energy Reliability Project
Major construction work is now finished and the Church Point Reserve Carpark has been restored
As you are aware, Ausgrid has been installing a new electricity cable between Church Point and Scotland Island. This cable will improve the reliability of the power supply to Scotland Island.
Progress to date
The major construction work is now complete and the Church Point Reserve Carpark has been restored and returned to the community. Ausgrid would like to thank you for your ongoing patience while we completed this important work.
In early 2021, we will need to connect the new cable to our network. There will be little impact to the carpark or community. We will notify you before we do this work.
Parking at Church Point Reserve Carpark
The parking restrictions in the Church Point Reserve Carpark have now been removed.
We would like to thank those residents who volunteered to move their cars to Rowland Reserve for the duration of the project. We will be in contact with you over the coming weeks to confirm your final cashback.
