Wildlife roadkill data sought

Pittwater Online News reports that local wildlife rescuers are seeking information on roadkill seen on area roads, particularly on McCarrs Creek Road. The website wildlifemapping.org, which is maintained by volunteers, can be used to record the GPS position, date, sex and species of animal. Photos can be added as they help in identification.

The data is then forwarded to the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) and Transport NSW as it can help mitigation plans.
